Its that time again. Our free monthly music night held in our basement on Wednesday 6th June, 2012. We haven’t just got one treat for you, but two musical feasts.
First at 6:30pm its Greg Smith with a solo acoustic set. Greg has been in various bands, including Black Heart Generator and his new band called Ghost of Dead Airplanes.
This will be followed by some jazz from the band Mouse at 7:00pm.
Mouse describe their sound as music fresh from the pages of an aberrant tunesmith for the perennially indecisive, and/or those in possession a short attention span.
Sometimes jazz, sometimes rock, but never jazz-rock. Mouse are made up by
Chris Maddock - Alto Saxophone
Charlotte Williamson - Vocals
Tymek Jozwiak - Drums
Alex Phillips - Bass
and our very own regular James Rhead - Keyboard

We will be raising money for Oxfam this Saturday with OxjamBrum having two live acoustic sets.
From 2pm we have Harry & His Heartless Sleeve and at 3pm we will have Neil Ward
So come on down to enjoy some fine brews and top tunes - all for a good cause!
Here a link to Neil Ward strumming out some tunes - should get you warmed up for the weekends’ fundraising festivities.
This Saturday we will have live music playing in store from 1-2pm from The Tom Ford Trio.
Thomas Ford is a young guitarist originally hailing for the West Midlands, at 23 he has already studied and played in America(Boston, New York)
as well as spending time in the music scenes of Berlin and Brussels. Now back in Birmingham he is playing regularly within the cities thriving Jazz scene.
Playing with many different musicians from all over the country he is able to combine all these personalities into a fresh original sound, while still paying homage to the tradition.
